Cóndores cliff & Trombolitos

Difficulty level:
Distance: 5,5 km
Initial Altitude: 100 msnm
Maximum Altitude: 370 msnm
Start time: 9:00 hrs
Duration: 3 hrs

We will start off by traveling 2 hours to the Estancia Cerro Guido, with over 100,00 hectares where you can experience the incredible Patagonian winds that even the very first pioneers felt as they arrived in a then-unhospitable place. The panoramic views of the cliff is an incredible sight and hopefully you’ll be able to spot a few native Condors flying overhead. The descent of the cliff will be the most demanding part of the day but it is only 20 minutes. We will then have our lunch somewhere in the vast pampas section and finally end the day on the shores of Lake Sarmiento to enjoy a geological conversation about the areas Trombolitos.
