Clothes and equipment necessary for excursions. See this link.
Patagonia Camp is a place created with the purpose to enjoy the luxurious nature of Torres del Paine, a place where you can isolate yourself from the world and work, which is why our yurts do not have television.
The rooms do have a telephone, as a means to communicate with the reception or other yurts before any requirement or necessity. It is also possible to make DDI (international direct dial) and DDN (national direct dial) calls.
We have WI-FI in the lounge area and Bar where we also have a computer for our guests’ use. It is important to consider that internet in the area can sometimes be very slow as it is a satellite service in a very remote place.
We have transfers to and from Cerro Castillo and is service included in our All inclusive programs.
No, in Patagonia Camp we do not have medical services but our guides do have first aid courses in remote places (WFR). On the other hand, the nearest hospital is located in Puerto Natales, just one hour from Patagonia Camp and there is an ambulance service from the Park and from Puerto Natales.
The tip depends on each passenger and their level of satisfaction with the services provided, however it is customary to leave USD 20 daily for general staff and USD 5 for baggage handling. Usually guides and drivers are given a separate tip and will depend on each passenger.
If there is an emergency, there is a landline in Patagonia Camp. The number is +56 225940591. You can also contact us by e-mail at camp@patagoniacamp.com
The excursions of Patagonia Camp are designed to be carried out by anyone with a normal physical condition, be it children, youth or adults. There are half day and full day, being the most extensive and demanding trekking to the base of the Towers and the Valle de Frances
Our shared programs are designed by entering from Punta Arenas, Puerto Natales or Cerro Castillo. Any alteration outside the program is considered as an optional service to be quoted at the time.
Our menus are basically prepared with traditional elements of Patagonian cuisine like lamb, southern hake, calafate and others. If you require other alternatives for health, religious or any other reasons, we ask you to tell us through our booking form.
