In Patagonia, nature always has the final say.

Centuries-old forests, mountains sculpted by ice, and an incredibly fragile ecosystem serve as a reminder that every human intervention leaves a mark. That is why, from its very beginnings, Patagonia Camp hotel was conceived under a simple yet challenging premise: to build a place where people can experience this extraordinary landscape without altering its essence.

Rather than simply adapting to the land, our infrastructure seeks to coexist with it.

A minimal intervention for a lasting impact

Every architectural decision at Patagonia Camp hotel is guided by the same principle: to intervene as little as possible and to care for the environment as much as possible.

Rather than transforming the landscape to accommodate the project, the design was adapted to the terrain, respecting the natural topography, the native forest, and the site’s unique characteristics.

This approach not only reduces the environmental impact during construction, but also allows the surrounding environment to continue developing naturally, preserving the balance of the ecosystem surrounding the hotel.

Landscape-inspired architecture

From a distance, Patagonia Camp hotel seems to blend into the forest.

The predominant use of wood and other natural materials allows each structure to blend harmoniously with the landscape, avoiding unnecessary contrasts with the natural surroundings. The colors, textures, and shapes were chosen to interact with the landscape rather than impose themselves on it.

The iconic yurts, inspired by the traditional nomadic homes of Central Asia, also represent a way of inhabiting the landscape with minimal impact, offering an immersive experience without sacrificing the comfort that characterizes the hotel.

Trails that protect the ground beneath our feet

The way we explore a place also affects its conservation.

That is why many of the trails connecting the hotel’s different areas were built on elevated walkways. This design prevents soil compaction, protects existing vegetation, and reduces erosion caused by constant foot traffic.

As a result, guests can move through the forest with a sense of total immersion, while the ecosystem continues to thrive with as little disruption as possible.

Every step is designed to foster a deeper connection with nature, not to further interfere with it.

A different way of understanding luxury

At Patagonia Camp hotel, we understand that living in a place means taking on the responsibility of caring for it. Our architecture does not seek to stand out against nature, but rather to become a respectful extension of it.

Our infrastructure is part of a broader vision of sustainability, in which architecture, day-to-day operations, and our guests’ experience all share a common purpose: to protect this land for future generations.

Because building with respect is also a way to preserve.

In Patagonia, nature always has the final say.
