Patagonia Camp Circle

Our Way to See Sustainability

Patagonia Camp was born from a deep respect for nature, a connection to our surroundings, and care for people. For us, sustainability is a way of living and being part of our environment.

PATAGONIA CAMP CIRCLE – A people-led path to regeneration brings together people, nature, responsible business, and community to create positive impact and move towards regeneration.

A MANIFESTO

Care for people. Protect the land. Strengthen communities. Operate responsibly.

We believe the true luxury of the future lies not only in the experience we offer, but in how we make it possible.

Our 4 Pillars

AT THE HEART OF OUR MODEL

1. Our People

Caring for the land begins with caring for people. At Patagonia Camp, more than 150 team members have built a culture rooted in trust, respect, and collaboration.

We support their growth and well-being, extending that commitment to their families and the communities where we live and operate.

Our Great Place to Work certification — the first awarded to a company in Magallanes and to an independent hotel in Chile — reflects this commitment to our people.

2. Nature & Territory

Patagonia Camp is set in an extraordinary natural environment, surrounded by more than 34,000 hectares of native forest and just a few kilometers from Torres del Paine National Park.

Our approach goes beyond reducing our impact. It is about living consciously and respectfully within the ecosystem, fostering a deep connection between people and place.

TOURISM THAT STRENGTHENS THE LOCAL COMMUNITY

3. Responsible Business

Truly sustainable tourism should also create value for the places where it operates.

Today, Patagonia Camp provides:

  • 150+ direct jobs
  • 60% of purchases from local or regional suppliers

We believe tourism can be a positive force for the communities and cultures that make Patagonia unique.

MEASURE TO IMPROVE

4. Governance & Continuous Improvement

Our sustainability model is built on clear indicators and ongoing review.

We track key areas including water and energy use, waste management, carbon footprint, guest satisfaction, and workplace culture.

We are currently developing our annual Sustainability Report to transparently share our progress and challenges.

CLIMATE COMMITMENT

Carbon Neutral by 2026

Our goal is to achieve carbon neutrality by 2026. We measure our carbon footprint annually and focus on three key areas:

  • Directly reducing emissions from our operations
  • Continuously improving energy efficiency and logistics
  • Supporting environmental projects across Patagonia

Rather than simply offsetting emissions, we aim to actively contribute to regenerating the place where we live and operate.
